Lots of Activities

The campground is average and needs some updates. There is nothing wrong with the campground it is just getting old. The bathrooms and showers are adequate, could have used more cleaning. The showers water temperature can be adjusted to your liking and had plenty of hot water. They had plenty of planned activities for kids and adults. The kids really loved the “Water Wars”, with 11 kiddie pools filled with water balloons to throw at each other. It was a hot day, so the pond was refreshing for a swim. The beach is hard packed dirt and could use a couple loads of beach sand. The campsite was spacious with lots of mowed grass, 30A and water hookup. We would stay again, campground is average and activities are above average.

So...

I'll be honest, we didn't stay here and giving a 3 star to be neutral for that reason. Took a drive late in the season to check it out in person after reading some very good and very bad reviews. For us, we will stay home before we will camp here. They have a lot to offer, and not to be critical, but a little sprucing up could go a long way. There are also a fair number dumpy and dirty looking seasonal 'trailers' here. I have no doubt the staff and campers are friendly and have some good times but it seems to also leave a bit to be desired.

Nice n’ quaint

Clean n respectfully observing Covid guidelines and protocol. Hoping to have next season more laid back and fun filled with more activities not on the cancellation list. . . . .

Not Peaceful

I went camping here a few years ago and definitely remember more cons than pros. Granted, it was a holiday weekend, which may be why. Parents were letting their kids run wild with no respect to others in the campground. I also had a topical allergic reaction after swimming in the pond/lake.

If you have kids, there are a lot of activities.
If you are child free and looking for peace and quiet, you'll probably want to look else where.

Great weekend campground!

We decided very last minute to camp this weekend! Use the APP The Dryt to find out campground. I was able to book same day. We live 2.5 hours away and didn't get to the campground until 10 PM! They stayed open until we go there and they had a guy waiting for a to take us to our site on a golf cart! The sites are pretty big, even tho our camper is only 21 ft long. The campground offered slot of things to do another of seasonal sites, well cleaned and maintained. They had activities for everyone that weekend. The only thing we noticed when we were leaving was there wasn't a dump station. But other then that we would stay at this campground again!

Good campground for families.

This campground has a lot to offer for people traveling with their families. They have putt putt, basket ball, jr basket ball, running track, baseball field, horseshoes, playground and a pond. They have a little library which is stock full of books, primarily for kids but they have adult books too. This is a good campground to spend Time with the kids. The only real downfall is that it is an aged campground.

we live close to this campground and we love swimming in the pond on hot summer days. The halloween trick or treating was a blast along with their haunted woods.
