Baraga State Forest Dispersed near Nestoria

Deep in the Baraga State Forest, this former gravel pit off North Nestoria Road opens into a wide, flat clearing — large enough to accommodate multiple rigs with room to spare. The gravel two-track in is generally in decent shape, with a few slow-it-down potholes, though the rocky surface makes for a rougher tent setup. Logging activity is signed for the corridor, but traffic through the area tends to be light.
