Great Campsite

Reservations online was super easy, and the hosts are great. They allowed me to drive around and look at the other campsites as I was needing a site with limited/no tree coverage. Plus I’m still learning how to handle my van, so was looking for a very flat spot. Bathrooms are nice and clean, the grounds are nice and clean, and the dog park is a great bonus.

Hid’n Pines Campground

This is a very large campground that offers all kinds of stays from seasonal to tents. They have cabins and all sizes of sites for all types of camping. Most look level. Fill hook-up is available. About half mile walk to old orchard beach. Plenty of comfort stations with laundry available. Pool is nice. Pass code for entry. Nice area.

Just okay

We mainly stayed here because we've stayed at another Sun RV Resorts in OR and really enjoyed it. Our site was nice and backed to a wooded area. The campground was within walking distance to the beach(about a mile) and not far from the Eastern Trail, which was great for hiking and biking. Unfortunately, the wifi was pretty terrible. We paid extra for what was supposed to be fast, streamable wifi, but at times that didn't work at all or was very slow. For the price we paid, the campground should have fast(or at least usable) internet for free. There was even a repeater directly behind our site. We also had to pay extra for our dog, which we thought was odd. The laundry room was okay, but several machines were out of order and even first thing in the morning it didn't seem too clean. Verizon was 2 bars. If I was in the area again I'd probably stay somewhere else.

Nice campground

Nice pool; playground for kids, can walk to old orchard; or they have a bus also!
