Fort Polk MWR South Toledo Bend

Sitting on the western Louisiana shore of Toledo Bend Reservoir near Anacoco, Fort Polk MWR South Toledo Bend is a military-affiliated campground restricted to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Access requires eligible status. The campground has cabins, yurts, and tent sites, with a clean beach, boat rentals, and fishing access on the reservoir. Crowding has been noted by at least one visitor. South Toledo Bend State Park Campground is roughly four miles south for campers without military affiliation.
