We stayed in camping spot #11. Although it wasnt very private, and very busy on a Tuesday, it did have a view of the water and was very close to the bathrooms and showers. The facilities were extremely clean and people were friendly. There are flushing toilets, hot showers, and new picnic tables…
Hillman Ferry is the northernmost full service campground in the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area and is an excellent base camp for exploring the LBL and other recreation opportunities in the area. And are there ever choices! To start, Hillman Ferry sits on Kentucky Lake and has many…

Our visit to Piney campground was good. Nice level spot with power. Nice playground. Bath house was cleaned every day. Large dumpsters for trash but no recycling nearby. Boat ramp was good plenty of shore to beach your boat. Some sites well shaded, some not.

Nice basic camp. Lots of shade rings a field which may also be camped on. $10 for 3 days. Walk to lake. Fire pit with grill, picnic tables, dump station. Was car camping and it was perfect for that. Wouldn’t call it back country at all. Permits available online.

I love camping here but there is constant traffic with boats being put in via the boat ramp if you camp in the first 2 branches. The woods have been picked free of firewood around the sites but it is pretty. There are hiking trails connected there so that is a plus.
We love the primitive sites at Nathan Bedford Forest! Each site is along the River banks, so you get the best views! Fire pits and picnic tables included. The bathhouse is very old though and does not have a shower. That is the only reason I couldn’t give this one 5 stars!

Overwhelming smell of dead fish that are laying aplenty on the shores of Ohio Rv. as there is no staff to clean up. Add to this general malaise of zero maintenance mowing or repairing decrepid sites and you get the picture. Did have 30 amp to drive my AC that covered the sound of the work crew…
Stayed in lot 18. Shade was great. Lake is beautiful spots are gravel pads with fire ring. On vault toilet, good but not totally maintained. Busy on weekends. Some lots traffic due to boat ramp. Far corner fairly good
Really nice spots have both non electric and electric. With America Beautiful Pass only 8 dollars a night non. Lots of trees with lake access. Quiet too. Level gravel spot with fire ring and picnic tables
We stayed at the Hillman Ferry Campground. We booked online but once we arrived, the attendant suggested we change sites. I recommend calling to book. Some sites are full hookup to include sewer, ours was not. Some sites are also electric only. Call ahead to be sure your have what you need at…
Went went for 5 days in a trailer and had a great time! Really level sites with space between camps. The hikes were beautiful and the bison and elk prairie nearby was a hit with the kids. As was the planetarium and nature center. We'll be back soon!!

Great place for backcountry though you can drive right to the spot. The gravel road back can be rough especially right after a big rain but you can avoid most of the holes. The site is right on the water with a gravel opening beside it. We were able to setup 4 tents with lots of room to spare. We…

We love all the bays and coves at LBL. We prefer less crowed camp areas and that is what sugar bay offers. Right on the water with access to several other things close by. Spots are in the grass and nothing fancy but perfect for us that love to Tent camp and enjoy natural comforts over amenities.
Great views, clean bath houses, bike trails, off road trail down the road at Turkey Creek for four and two wheelers. Water and electric but no sewer which is normal for KY state parks.
