Lake Cumberland's shoreline access defines this Corps of Engineers recreation area, where campers can walk directly to the water during summer pool levels. The campground operates seasonally from May through early September, providing electric and water hookups along with standard amenities including restrooms, showers, and a dump station. Sites accommodate RVs and offer multiple access options including drive-in, walk-in, and boat-in camping.
Located near Fishing Creek Campground, the area allows campfires and welcomes pets. During winter pool conditions, the receded waterline creates opportunities for shoreline exploration around the exposed lake bed. Reservations are available for this Corps-managed facility.
