Select campgrounds/campsites are designated as "Reservable". All other sites are rented on a first-come-first-serve only basis. Please have your site number and identification with you when you register. Campground Hosts are located at each campground to assist you. Senior citizen (62 and over) and County resident discounts available. Concessions and firewood for sale.

If you are hard sided and well insulated and you run the A/C unit all night this might be a nice place; for us in a pop up (this is “camping out”, right?) parking at Walmart would have been a quieter option

Very well organized, friendly host, green and easy to access off the highway even though we got in after dark. We were able to register our campsite the following morning since we got in late.
We’re tent camping and thrilled with the clean hot showers. Just had a bit of road noise.

Park offers 4 lakes to fish and paddle, world-class disc golf, shelters to rent, play areas, while the beach offers swimming and concessions.

CG is being updated today connect with Lisa cal sewer system. Sites offer: tables, fire rings, hard drive through pads, electric, water, showers/RR, play areas, horse shoes, trails, and 2 cabins adjacent to CG. Overflow/visitor parking. Park offers trails, 4 lakes for paddling, fishing, and swim beach in season, concessions, disc golf.

CG has new septic lines and walking paths! Sites have upgraded lanes, pads. Sites offer standard amenities, seasonal host onsite, firewood available, play area, overflow parking, lake nearby for fishing, paddling. Beach open with concessions seasonally. Disc golf course. 

Well maintained County park

We are headed to North Carolina and needed a break from the back-to-back travel days. This campground was clean and quiet while we’re were there. We did stay from Monday to Wednesday so it might be busier on the weekends.
