Amishville USA Campground

The staff was friendly, and good amenities.  Water and electric, playgrounds, swimming hole, fishing ponds...  On Saturday nights, they have a big kettle corn operation that was SO GOOD!  I think they also had a hay ride but we missed it.  The main things we did not like and the reason for 3 stars is the smelly hard water and the bathrooms were NOT cleaned the whole time we were there. Also, there are a LOT of people that are permanent or seasonal residents with golf carts.  We kind of felt like we were in someone else's neighborhood, but everyone was very nice.  We chose this place because it's 15 minutes from Pine Lake Water Park, which was a blast. (It was also a good location to break up a huge trip from IL to NY)

We started the weekend off here in Fall of 18 with terrible cold and rain for their Halloween weekend. We were placed in between 2 permanent spots and the pad was mostly grass therefore wet. There were a lot of things planned and events just did not happen. Also staff was very rude and not accommodating. The only highlight was the hayride that went around the entire campground. I realize they have different owners now and that’s the only reason that I am even giving a 2 star because they reached out to my wife after they took over.
