    Perfect!

Very nice, affordable and peaceful campsite. Stayed one night for tent camping, campsite was clean and accommodating with fire pit, picnic table, lights, Wi-Fi, and power plug. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Perfect camping site.

    Spring Lake Park - Macomb

Just lovely so spacious and clean. Gorgeous view of lake from cabins.

Friendly staff. Kayak and Pontoon to rent. Trails go all over the entire park! Clean showering facilities. Our furnished cabin faced the lake it was an incredible view.  We had fun fishing and sitting by the campfire in the evenings. Overall definitely worth the 5 stars!!!! Thanks Ryan and all of the staff out there! We will revisit soon.

    Cedar river campground

Camped there for years. Never again. Last 2 years under current owners\ management, I would not spend another dime there. They are nothing but drama. Behind office towards owners home looks like a salvage yard. They have removed families who have camped there for years. Only ones left are scared, no place to move to, or suck up to them for special privileges. Last two years were horrible. Will only return if sold to again new owners who care about campers vs money.

    Awesome campground

Always a great experience at spring lake. Fishing, boat rentals, convenience store and shower house are all great. Beautiful and we’ll maintained.

    Great for an overnight

Gravel pad for one night. Didn’t use facilities, pool was closed for the season. Very nice walk around the lake, dog park was not large, but clean with enough room to run. There were much nicer spots, but we had all we needed for one night.

Large KOA across the Mississippi River in Rock Island, Ill

Loads of sites with what appears to be FHU’s. On the upper short term sites, they are concrete pads and on the remainder of sites they are gravel. Short term sites are close packed with small patios between the rigs. As a KOA, this is well kept. Bathrooms and showers are quite acceptable. They have cabins as well that are in a separate area distant from the RV sites. There is a small putt-putt, a pool, child water area and swing and bounce attraction.

    Perfect getaway!

Recently under new ownership, you can tell they’ve been working hard getting the place going again. Yes, you hear traffic, but it didn’t bother us. They had a great fireworks display for the fourth. Spots are tighter than what we prefer, but will be back again.

    Beautiful spot convenient to freeway

Nice overnight stay during winter. Showers are spacious, with personal locking door and hot hot water. Beautiful walk with trees and lakes, even in the rain. There may be some full timers, but not in our area. Check in was easy and the on-site staff are very friendly.

Great spot to unwind and plenty for the kids to do!

    Fantastic campground.
Facilities were well maintained and the staff was great!

Traveling with 3 younger kids and they enjoyed all the activities.

We'll be back here again, for sure.

    Easy on/off the interstate

This is our 3rd time visiting this KOA. We've yet to be disappointed! No traffic noise. Our site was across from the picnic area & we had a nice view of the lake. Nice place to relax after a day on the road. Clean bathrooms & showers. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Easy on/off the interstate.

    Cedar River Campground

Friendly, green scenery, a bit noisy

We stopped over for the night, and it was a good respite. They have mini-golf, a nice pool and a creative rugged play area for the kids. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the evening cleaning, so we didn't get to use it. There was a beautiful wetland just down from the campground. It is right off the highway, so it was loud when we were outside, but we couldn't hear it at all when we were in our Tab 400. The manager, son of the owner, was really nice and helpful. His mom has owned the RV park for 27 years and ready to retire. There are some friendly seasonal and long-term residents who are in a separate section, but you see them driving through on their golf carts and are super fun and gregarious.

Lots of highway noise but convenient

Very standard rv spots feet from the highway. Hosts are very amicable. Perfect for what we needed, a quick stop on our drive across country. Appears to be lots of activities for kids/families during the day.

    Ridiculously beautiful campground

Beautiful campground but...management didn’t seem to concerned about us! We ordered wood and had to carry it out ourselves. Tried to ask for directions to our site and got steered completely the wrong direction. Drove around for 15 minutes trying to find the right location. But wow! What a beautiful spot we had! Would have been in paradise if it wasn’t for the swarms and swarms of mosquitos and spiders that the pond brought. Our spray and bug zapper couldn’t keep up! Lol. But we WILL be back because it was the best looking site we’ve been to at a KOA

    Great Spot

We are so thankful we found this park. Most occupants are simi-annual residents, but there are still several nice, quiet, shady spots to be found. Everyone is friendly. There are 2 clean but dated bathhouses available. It’s the most reasonably priced campsite that we have found so far.

    My favorite spot

I’ve camped here several times at the primitive sites. It’s a decent hike in but once you get there, the view of the lake is worth it. It’s just a nice, peaceful place to camp. I’ve always been able to find a campsite since it is first come first serve. The host is very friendly and seems like he’s been the host there for years. They have canoes to rent and you’re bound to see cranes and ducks along the way. Just be weary of the geese by the reservoir because they can be moody! My boyfriend and I try to go at least once a year because we just love it there.

    Great campground

This campground is pretty big lots of full time campers. Camp ground is open year round. Have lots of different options if your ten camping or have an rv. They do have very nice cabins on site and a decent sized pond where the campground goes around. Mini golf is available with a pool. Had to go here once just to use the dump station. Host is very nice. They have a nice shop on site. And they fill propane tanks. Shower houses are very nice sized never feel cramped. And they are very well taken care of.

    Indian Lake Park

    Beautiful

This park has something for everyone. They have primitive tent sites, electric only, electric+water, and fhu. They also have cabins for rent. All very reasonably priced. Most of the sites are nice and shady and level. A bathhouse with showers. A stone lodge for large parties. There is a playground, a few nice hiking trails, and a lake with a nice sandy beach. Almost empty during the week, but very busy on summer weekends. Hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, bird watching. There are many things to keep you busy here.

    Camping during lockdown

We have never camped in colder weather or during a statewide lockdown for Corona Virus so I am taking that into account. I was glad they were open to begin with, but the website did not mention that the premium patio site with full hook up would not have water service while we were there. We also paid for an end site that would not face other campers and we ended up being downgraded to a 30amp site that was sandwiched between other campers. Bathroom facilities where fantastic and a reason for potential return. I have only seen a couple other campgrounds over ten years of camping that compared. They must have recently done a remodel. Private shower rooms that were perfectly cleaned. The campground itself needs some repairs done to the gravel roads as there were several paths that had very deep ruts that needed to be leveled out. Maybe something they will be addressing in the spring. It was hard to really gauge the park as pools were closed, and so were the registration office and store. Is be willing to give this location another try under different circumstances.
