Creek access and open terrain define this US Forest Service campground within Nezperce National Forest. Slims Campground sits along a creek, providing water access for campers who enjoy streamside activities. The open layout offers less shade than heavily forested sites but allows for easier RV maneuvering and setup.
Located in the Selway River corridor, the campground serves as a base for exploring the surrounding national forest lands. Several other Forest Service campgrounds operate within close proximity, including Selway Falls Campground less than a mile northwest. The area attracts visitors seeking creek fishing and forest road exploration, though campers should prepare for limited services typical of remote forest locations.
