Within Nezperce National Forest, Selway Falls Campground operates under US Forest Service management along gravel roads that require a 45-minute drive from paved surfaces. The campground accommodates RVs up to 30 feet and provides standard amenities including toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings, with pets and alcohol permitted throughout the area.
Sites sit close to the access road in open terrain near a creek, with some later sites offering tree cover. A Forest Service ranger on motorcycle makes regular rounds through this and other formal campgrounds in the region, providing information about both designated sites and dispersed camping opportunities when the campground reaches capacity. The facility operates seasonally, and road access beyond this point closes when the campground shuts down for winter.
