Boat-in and hike-in access keeps Geisinger Campground in Kaniksu National Forest squarely in the hands of paddlers and backcountry travelers willing to work for a lakeside site. Access is rough, so arriving prepared matters. The campground is free, includes toilets, and allows campfires and pets. Nearby, Trapper Creek Campground sits roughly two miles to the northwest for those weighing options in the area. This site suits self-sufficient campers comfortable with non-motorized or trail-based entry.
