Description
Mineral Ridge rises sharply above Beauty Bay on the southeastern arm of Lake Coeur d'Alene, and this dispersed spot sits on the steep dirt slopes of FSR 1575 — a rough, narrow 4WD track that climbs through dense north-Idaho forest. Pullouts range from roadside shoulder spots to small pull-ins; conditions turn slick quickly in rain and the road is best avoided when wet. The local trail network sees occasional foot traffic, but overnight stays tend to be quiet, especially outside peak summer weekends when the nearby developed campgrounds fill first.
