Camp Easton

Overview

Camp Easton is a 383-acre Scouting America camp operated by the Inland Northwest Council, situated in Gotham Bay on the eastern shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene in Harrison, Idaho. The property features three-quarters of a mile of lakefront with a sandy beach and is open year-round for public camping, family reunions, corporate retreats, and special events in addition to its structured summer scout program. It is a good fit for groups, families, and water-oriented campers.

Facilities

The camp offers 14 tent campsites, 4 full-hookup RV sites, 2 partial-hookup RV sites, and 13 cabins. A main lodge accommodates over 300 guests and includes a well-stocked kitchen. Communal shower houses are located throughout the property; campsites also have portable toilets and running water (seasonal). A year-round camp store, "The Trading Post," is on-site.

Recreation

Water activities include swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, motor boating, and fly fishing directly from the lakefront. Land activities include hiking, volleyball, and access to a regional 72-mile bike trail connecting Spokane to Montana. Shooting sports facilities are available on the property.
