big Hanks campground

Situated along a river corridor in northern Idaho's Coeur d'Alene region, Big Hanks Campground has paved sites with good spacing between them. Vegetation has filled in heavily since trees were cleared years ago, giving the area a dense, brushy character. Several sites have direct river access. Each site includes a picnic table, barbecue, and fire pit, and pit toilets with older wooden enclosures are functional and maintained. Most sites require reservations, with only three held for camping near Murray walk-ins. Campers wanting a more open setup may want to check Big Hank nearby.
