Overview
Nu Kemet Glamping Village is a privately owned glamping retreat situated on approximately 94 acres of Black-owned land in Toomsboro, Georgia, operated by The Black Achievement Fund (BAF). The property is located about 2 hours from Atlanta and 30 minutes from both Macon and Milledgeville. It is part of a larger planned 112–118-acre residential and retreat community currently in active development, with the glamping village component open for public bookings via Campspot.
Facilities
Accommodation is in glamping tent cottages perched on private decks, each approximately 300 square feet and pre-furnished. Sanitation is currently provided via porta potty and hand-washing station on-site; permanent bathhouse infrastructure may still be under construction. On-site sporting equipment includes a volleyball net, soccer ball, football, kickball gear, board games, and tiki torches.
Recreation
The property features hiking trails (including the on-site Nile Trail), fire pits, and a volleyball court. Live music and special events are listed as park features on Campspot. ATV rides and outdoor movie screenings have been referenced in connection with the glamping village.
