Killebrew Park is located near the flat terrain of southern Georgia. The area experiences temperatures ranging from the 40s in winter to the 90s in summer. Campers can explore the nearby Georgia Veterans State Park, which offers historical exhibits and recreational activities.

Killebrew Park is named after Mr. Emmett Killebrew. Mr. Killebrew was the engineer who designed the Power Commission’s hydro dam and also the Georgia Power hydro dam in Albany, Georgia. The park includes shaded campsites with an additional picnic area for visitors. The park is located at the location of the old Burke’s Ferry that allowed river crossing from Worth County to Lee County. The park has ten campsites with water provided. One of the ten campsites is handicap accessible. Bathroom facilities are available. A boat ramp is available for river access and a public fishing area is provided. Little gem

Water only, 10 sites, stayed #3 in 30foot 5th wheel with F250 and had room to spare

T-Mobile 5G, 270 meg down, 34meg up
Verizon worked great (almost as good as T-Mobile)
Visible 13meg down, 3meg up
Even Cricket data was not too sluggish 

Small, quiet on hydro-electric side of river. Some people are slobs and our dog kept finding food scraps - like chicken bones. Great staff. I would repeat. 

Bathrooms not so great, need to be touched up as 1960 decor is looking tired 

Quiet and quaint Splendid little gem

It was tough to find at first! You need to go I to what you think is the dam area and then campsite entrance is on the left when you are almost at the dam gateway. 10 sites with water but no electric or sewer. Very quiet right on the river. The dam makes a great white noise for sleeping! I kept thinking I had left a fan on the 1st night, lol! Just two of us here though it is weeknights. Bathroom and showers are across picnic area and up some stairs...always closed when I tried them.

Great little campground!

No frills campground. Some spots have large square fire rings and others have round ones. We chose a spot right under a street light so we had plenty of light after dark. There is a boat ramp, shore fishing and a fishing pier all right here.  They lock the gates at 10 so its only campers after that.  Pretty much each site has their own trash can though a couple share if it logistically makes sense. You just pull in, pick a site and call the dam.  You need to hit extension 3/damn operations/power plant or emergency assistance after 5pm.  They will send some
One down from the plant and its $5 out the door per night cash only.  We were told it use to be free but they started charging to keep the trouble makers away. I will absolutely return here again.  Such a way better deal
Than the state park that wanted like $40 🤣.  They have a shower house, but its up a steep
Incline so if you have mobility issues you might not be able to make it.
