Two grassy camping areas sit inside the Flint River Wildlife Management Area outside Montezuma, managed by Georgia Department of Natural Resources and free to use for up to 14 days. The site further in, near a fenced building, has a dumpster, deer hanger, and water hose. Doe sightings are documented. AT&T users can expect around two bars of LTE, and a land pass is required to enter the WMA. This setup works best for self-sufficient campers, particularly hunters or wildlife watchers comfortable with a remote, no-frills stay.
