Creek access and waterfall proximity draw visitors to Dicks Creek Falls Campsites, a dispersed camping area managed by the US Forest Service. Campers reach the sites via a three-mile dirt road that winds through the forest, with spots scattered along the route offering varying degrees of water access and privacy.
The campground operates on a first-come, first-serve basis with only five to six available sites. Some spots sit closer to the creek, while others provide more seclusion from the main access road. A large waterfall near the beginning of the dirt road attracts day users, and additional trails lead to other falls further up the route. Summer brings heavy use that can fill all available spaces. Campers should bring trail maps for hiking, as some paths lack recent maintenance and require navigation skills.
