Nice little campground with plenty of shade

Bring your driving skills to this campground! With oak, palm, and pine trees all over the place you will surely need to maneuver around and in between them to get into your site. With mostly permanent residents this quite, shaded little campground has a nature walk, pool, playground, and plenty of weekend activities for the family to participate in. We stayed for the 4th of July weekend and had a great time.

Hidden Gem!

This park is “hidden” just off of I-75 in North Fort Myers. The park is small but has everything you need. The bathrooms and showers are some of the best campground bathrooms I have seen and are air conditioned! The pool is great and the laundry is very nice. The sites are well kept with gravel and cement pads. Reasonably priced and family run.

Nice but short on room

We stayed here for 3 weeks in Dec. 2020.

Pros: Campground is well-maintained and staff is very friendly. Nice nature walk that my dog and I enjoyed each day. Heated pool. Bathrooms/bathhouses are spotless and roomy. Nice laundry facilities. Lots of social activities, but the people who attend them seem very “cliquey” and don’t seem to welcome outsiders.

Cons: You are packed in tight. Our picnic table was 2 feet away from neighbor’s sewer hook-up. Very expensive. (Especially for the lack of room) We had to leave because we couldn’t afford seasonal rates. Many full-timers whose spots look overloaded and junky.

Extended Our Stay

Originally planned a week stay after Bike Week in Daytona; had so much fun at Seminole we stayed another week. Lots of activities during the week and great access for motorcycle rides. Going back next year!

RV Only -- No Tents Allowed in this Campground

Unlike the name would lead you to believe, the Seminole Campground and RV park in North Fort Myers, isn't actually a campground at all -- it's just an RV park.

Located just off of I-75 and Hwy 78 (Bayshore) the location of the park is a short drive (in FL terms) to anywhere in the Ft Myers area. There is a Publix not far away, and a new restaurant called the Boat House near the Civic Center.

The "campground" is convenient to Lee County Civic Center and Echo (a global agricultural non profit learning center).

RV sits are 55$ a day including hookups. The campground has a pool, bath house, and a community area.

There are trash receptacles onsite and a recycling bin at each site. Each site also has a picnic table and grill.

There are a lot of RVs at the campground that look like they're there to stay awhile. The campground has more the feel of a mobile home park than it does a campground.
