Nice and friendly

There is a semi truck parking, but not too big. The signs say, 2hr parking only. I went inside and the ladies were really nice. One walked out to see where I was, and she okay. I think they just want you to ask.

Not much space for dog walking. Busy intersection, with aot of businesses.

I95 Drive-By Depot

This location offers both the opportunity to fuel up as well as grab a quick bite to eat at McDonald’s that sits alongside this outpost or one of the other 2 franchises – Cinnabon and Subway – that are physically imbedded inside this Pilot Travel Center. This overnight depot can be accessed in less than a minute once exiting I95 on exit 329 and offers 160 parking spots and 28 prime parking spots that can be reserved ahead of time for $18 / night.

Overall, this place is incredibly busy, mostly with 18-wheeled semis, but there is room for RVs and 5th Wheelers, albeit the overnight lights are incredibly bright and the place is constantly buzzing with traffic coming in and heading out. The parking areas are well-paved and perfectly flat and, in addition to offering somewhat clean restroom facilities, there’s also 9 shower stalls, a propane refueling station, ATM, WiFi, a game room and laundry facility.  Should you need to load up on anything for your journey, just due east of here is the burgeoning Beachwalk area that offers up a Publix and BJs as well as a Lowe's and a small scattering of chain restaurants like Panda Express, Playa Bowls, Island Fin Poke and Burger Fi.

While scoring criteria may vary from one person to the next, here are the 5 most important criteria that informed my rating of this overnight location: convenience (EZ on- and off-access), safety & security, quality (of facilities), peace & quiet and amenities (either on-site or nearby). Here’s how I ranked this particular overnight spot:

Convenience: 5

Safety & Security: 4

Quality: 2

Peace & Quiet: 1

Amenities: 2

Overall, I scored this location a 3.

Happy Overnighting!
