Hillside RV Camping

Only a stone’s throw to beautiful Blue Springs SP, this campground, well, isn’t actually even a campground. That is, it doesn’t allow for tent campers. So if you’ve got an RV, then you might as well have found heaven. This place has a quaint, clean pool that greets you upon entry at the front office (which sells a number of sundries at affordable prices), which is where you’ll also find the very spartan laundry facilities, adjacent to what looks like a killer outdoor tiki hut bar with enough exposed floorboards for a proper bit of barn dancing. Once on the grounds, you’ll steer in a few different directions to discover that there’s a number of quaint, private little micro-neighborhoods that dot the grounds of this campground. Each space has decent room to both maneuver as well as set up your outdoor living cabana. Cozy and neighborly is how I would describe the place, which might just be perfect, given the prices.  Insider's tip?  This location puts you within a very short 10 minute or so drive to Hontoon State Park, which has some killer birdwatching, decent hiking trails - as well as access Lake Beresford Park, which has an excellent dock perfect for spending time catching some fresh water fish you'll be happy to cook up that night over a smoky fire.

Happy Camping!
