Description

The island village of Cedar Key off the west-central coast of Florida is joined by a causeway and three bridges across four miles of shallow salt marsh. Home to clammers and fishermen, its picturesque charm draws artists, tourists, writers, showbirds and nature lovers. It is Florida’s second oldest settlement and the end point of naturalist John Muir’s thousand mile walk to the Gulf. Cedar Key, which still looks like a frontier town in places, has developed a reputation for its artisan shops and seafood restaurants along Dock Street. Commercial fishermen farm clams, which have become a culinary icon. The Cedar Key RV Resort is an RV resort and campground located less than 10 minutes from historic Cedar Key, Florida. With large concrete pads, averaging 45×80 ft in size or larger, RV owners and campers will enjoy only the best features including a beautiful heated pool, very clean bathhouses, lots with paved roads, concrete patios, wireless internet, Cable TV and full hookups with 30-50 amps. Pets are always welcome at the Cedar Key RV Resort and we have a special dog park. What you won’t find are traffic jams, red lights, franchises or high rises! Our focus is your peace and tranquility while you stay with us. Please Contact us for sales information in addition to our fine rentals.

Very professional

Super clean and quiet. This campground has it all except a childrens play area. Laundry, pool, clubhouse, Pickleball courts. Short drive to Cedar Key harbor. Great restaurants and art coop shopping.

Great Campground

Plenty of room to get in and out of your site. Roomy sites. Pleasant management. I’ve stayed twice for a nice weekend away.

Will definitely stay again and again and again.

Hidden gem in quiet little town

Absolutely love this campground. Huge sites with great hook ups, that are perfectly level. Paved roads, so no dust! Great, clean facilities. Guests and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Even a cute dog park. Wifi is great. A little out of the way from most places and shopping, but like that. Only 5 miles from center of Cedar key, which is an awesome little fishing village with few great shops, restaurants and bars love this town. Only downfall is no cable. Highly recommend this place!

Nice RV Park in Cedar Key

This park was excellent for what my husband and I require in a park-- we aren't looking for a lot of amenities but want level pads with good hookups. We stayed in site 94. Level concrete pads and our site had a paver patio and picnic bench. All the hookups were well placed and maintained. Grounds were well kept and our site had some shade which is needed in Florida. Wifi was pretty good-- had an outage one night, but other than that, we were able to stream with few issues. No cable and our antenna couldn't pick up anything(not surprising, given the relatively remote location of Cedar Key). The resort did offer amenities-- pool, clubhouse, exercise room-- dated but adequate. Melissa was extremely friendly and helpful at check in. There are also bathrooms and laundry which we did not use. People who are not familiar with this area should know the bugs are ferocious and a screen house is highly recommended. The site was able to accommodate our RV, toad and the screen house. The resort asks that no floored screen houses or rugs are placed on the grass-- standard request. We really enjoyed our stay and will return if in the area again.

Peace

Beautiful property and well manicured sites! So peaceful and quiet! A fun family weekend!!

Only downfall, Wi-Fi wasn’t the greatest, but that wasn’t really the end of the world! 😊
