Roosevelt NF Dispersed off FS 355D near Nederland

Deep in Roosevelt National Forest just south of Nederland, this treed flat sits at around 8,670 feet in the Front Range foothills where open sky meets scattered conifers. A fire ring and the tree line offer a reasonable windbreak from westerly winds, and the terrain is level enough for a range of rigs. FS 355D is right at the doorstep — high clearance handles it confidently, though lower-clearance vehicles may manage in dry conditions. The area is subject to seasonal closure; expect gates to be shut through late spring.
