North Boulder Creek Dispersed Camping
North Boulder Creek Dispersed Camping, near the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, is a fantastic spot for those who crave a bit of solitude and stunning views. This area is perfect for tent camping or RVs, though be prepared for some rough roads that might require a vehicle with good clearance.
Visitors rave about the breathtaking scenery, with many noting that you can't go wrong with any site you choose. One camper shared, “We’ve visited here twice and both times got amazing views with our sites.” The peaceful atmosphere is ideal for stargazing, especially during events like the Perseid meteor shower, as one reviewer highlighted the great views and quiet surroundings.
While there are no amenities like drinking water or toilets, the freedom to have fires and the fact that it’s free make it a popular choice. Just remember to bring your own firewood and pack out what you pack in, as there’s no trash service. Some campers have spotted wildlife, including bears, so keep your food secured.
If you're looking for a place to unwind and connect with nature, this location offers a true escape. Just be ready for a bit of adventure getting there, and you’ll be rewarded with some of the best views around.
