Pike National Forest's Rampart Range Road (FR 300) corridor is a busy OHV hub, and this staging area parking lot off FR 300 doubles as an overnight stop for travelers willing to trade solitude for flat, paved ground. The upper end of the lot levels out well enough for a comfortable night, though expect two-stroke engines and trailer activity to start early once the daytime crowd arrives. No cell service; a porta-potty is on-site.
