Description
BLM land tucked into the western foothills of Grand Mesa, this cluster of informal sites sits alongside North Fork Kannah Creek at around 6,000 feet — low enough for summer heat, shaded enough by streamside vegetation to offer relief from it. Established fire rings and sandy, near-level ground make for a functional overnight, with star visibility that benefits from the remote corridor. The access road doubles as an informal dump site, so expect roadside debris on the way in; the creek-adjacent sites are set back from the worst of it.
