Sitting along the shore of Lake Granby in Arapaho National Forest, this free dispersed site in Grand Bay gives campers direct water access, a sandy beach, and a fire pit already in place. The terrain slopes noticeably, so finding level ground for a tent takes some effort. Anglers can fish from shore or off the nearby point for lake trout, and paddlers can kayak in from Sunset Point campground. The site borders Rocky Mountain National Park, so campers should confirm they haven't crossed into the park boundary before setting up.
