Sweet spot at Deer Creek

The sites are pretty far apart from each other. Depending where you camp you can hear the water from the stream. All the sites are first come first serve. I arrived around 11am on Friday and there were three camp grounds left. Cleared out by Sunday afternoon. I feel like the trailhead could be labeled better, if you plan on hiking from the campground. Saw deer before leaving!

Nice little campground w plenty of room

This site is just north of Bailey, about 20 minutes. Beautiful views. Sites are far enough apart to get a decent amount of privacy. RV trailer friendly. The creek provides a tranquil environment. Trail head at the campsite. $24 per night is a bit steep but worth it. We had out of state campers next to us who left their site littered w trash and debris. No upbringing. No shame.

Great place!

Love this campground. You can hear the water and the creek is right next to your site. Bathrooms were very well maintained. You are close to your neighbors. I just wish they had a dumpster for your trash.

Love this campground

Even when it’s at 100% capacity it’s still not crowded!!!

Super shady - a little cold at night.

Restrooms were good, has a well and we were right on the creek.

Lovely weekend getaway

Beautiful campground right on 2 creeks which makes for a great soundtrack. We stayed at campsite #5 which was right on one of the creeks. Vault toilets were nice and clean. No dumpster though, which was fine. Camp hosts were very nice and we saw a bunch of wildlife. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Great in town camping

This campsite is just outside of Denver, good for new campers or those who want to be more in town. Lots to do nearby

Good for hikers

this site is small, but sits right on Deer Creek, so the few sites that have direct creek access are awesome. First come first served, so weekends will be tough. We went during the week, so no probkems. Two restrooms and a well water pump is all you get for $22/night. Quite pricy. All sites have picnic tables and fire pits. Would go again since so conveniently located for us. NO trash service; haul out what you make.
