Deep in the mixed-conifer terrain of Sequoia National Forest near Big Baldy Ridge, this dispersed area off FR 14S56 (Woodward Creek Road) offers multiple mostly-level spots with fire pits — room enough for a convoy of rigs or a group of tents. The entrance features a notable bump that demands clearance and four-wheel drive is strongly advised; the road beyond is rough and climbs, but high-clearance vehicles including rigs up to 30 feet have made it through. Expect cold nights at elevation, no cell service, and genuine quiet.
