Description
At roughly 4,200 feet in the remote northern reaches of Death Valley National Park, this flat hilltop perch above Racetrack Valley sits at the end of a 4WD-only spur off Ubehebe Lead Mine Road, with panoramic views across one of the park's most storied and seldom-visited landscapes. A stone fire ring marks the site. The approach demands a capable 4WD vehicle and no cell service should be expected this deep in the backcountry.
