Description
Perched in Sequoia National Forest above the Kings Canyon corridor, this open clearing off FR 13S09M (Tenmile Spur) sits at around 5,750 feet with broad views of the canyon cliffs and the Sierra Nevada skyline. The area is large enough for several vans or rigs and has an established fire ring with log seating; a short, steep incline on the approach demands decent clearance but has been managed successfully in two-wheel drive. No cell service reaches this elevation, and traffic on the spur is minimal — especially after dark.
