Princess Campground sits at 5,200 feet elevation in Sequoia National Forest, operating seasonally from late May through September. The US Forest Service facility accommodates RVs up to 30 feet and provides standard amenities including drinking water, restrooms, and picnic tables with fire rings.
A meadow trail winds through the campground, offering a short walk among the forest setting. The location provides access to both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, with Hume Lake approximately 20 minutes away by car. Sites are spaced adequately, though group noise can carry between areas. Campers report this location receives less traffic than busier park campgrounds, making it suitable for those wanting forest service camping with national park access.
