Great place

We had a great experience at the Placerville KOA. In this place, I can join many activities such as playing geometry dash lite .The staff was very welcoming and the grounds are organized and clean. The only thing I would suggest is to put in a few more bathrooms around the site. The main building are the only bathrooms. I would suggest a visit. They also have a pool area and hot tub Our friends stayed in the cabins. They were clean and comfortable

Be Careful With Your Reservation!

Read the fine print! If you are expecting a full-hookup site, make sure it has septic at your site! Many of the sites are water and electric only, and you have to use the one dump station at the camp entrance for dumping. Kinda inconvenient and not what I would expect for $106 a night! This place gets VERY full on a holiday weekend, noisy, congested. It's the only game in town for a ways, so there you have it.

Placerville CA KOA

This is a KOA campground...NOT!  Dirty and grounds are full of sand burrs. Our dogs suffered daily with these in their paws.  Close spaces.  I know CA has been in a drought. But some gravel on sites would be a great idea. Will NEVER stay there again.

Nice getaway

I like the place pros would be doing just water and electric hook up so your away from the croud, clean and quiet, great wifi, cons next to freeway, expensive,no firepit but have a communal fire pit,but if that's dosent bother you it would be a 5star

Pricey but fun for kids

Mini train ride around park, great playground, mini golf, showed movie and a lot more awesomeness. Was not cheap but kept the kids entertained. Will be going back.

Placerville KOA

Have stayed here several times. Has been run down in the past but seems to be improving on our last visit a couple of weeks ago. Clean restrooms and cable and Wifi have been improved. Is very noisy near the 50 freeway, not much you can do about that.
