Was cold, but we had the gear and a lil firepit to keep warm. Aweso.e spot on the creek

Strict rules but clean facilities

If you need a place to stop and sleep and nothing else, this is your place! Clean bathrooms in the remodeled facility, easy pull through spots fitting both big rvs and little vans like mine. Hot and windy, but very quiet little park and didn't hear highway at all.

Not found on a map! Remote! Mill Valley Campground

Take Forrest Route N17 off of Spouts Spring Rd.

What a sweet surprise after spending an hour on an unimproved wash board road.. This is an ideal Campground for those with OHV's. As you pass thru a off road vehicle area on way up to campsite.

Lett's Lake was closed due to a prior fire. But the upside is that the Forrest service has provided free stacks of wood.

Bring lots of water and drive a well running car. You don't want to get stuck out here!

Nice little spot

We enjoyed a pull thru full hookup spot. We had our dogs and 5 year old with us. There was a fair amount of space between sites. We all enjoyed a meal at the steak house. After we let mama gamble as my daughter and I enjoyed the arcade, then we switched. If we need to get away for a night, I can see us coming back here again.

Nice place to have dinner too.

Easy off and on freeway access, next to casino.

What could I say.

I mean We have been going to this campground for 21 years now, every year is a different experience, meaning the camp hosts, they can make it a great experience or not, besides that it’s a beautiful campground to stay, it has plenty of campground shade running water in bathrooms, has coin showers and dish washing station. The days are hot nights cool off enough to sleep comfortably. On a side note if your favorite spot reserve in February for the summer months.

Super chill

Very peaceful spot

Awesome free campsite!

This campground is free!!! It has lots of vault toilets and trash cans, but there is no running water. There are some campsites that are private and some where you can bring a big group. There are fire pits with grills and picnic tables at all the sites. The lake is amazing for swimming!

Camped mid-May 2018. Mostly dry land/brush. Prickers everywhere. Tall grass, ticks, black widows, lizards, rattles and gardner snakes. 14-day BLM campground literally 5 minutes down the road from CalFire. Four toilets. No water, just creek running between campground and hills. Have to use horse or find low section and pile rocks as a ‘bridge’ to cross for hiking. Fire pits and horse poles. Mostly quiet unless a big rig drives by on the highway or people loudly pull off HWY 16 to use the toilet. Great spot to semi-rough it.
