Advertised at $35 on The Dyrt, it was $63 with a discount. Closest bath house was mediocre, and no WiFi! Nice registration person offered her personal hotspot. As my 5th rv camping experience, I’m learning what to ask for up front.
Pine Flat is a beautiful place close to home yet far enough to find a peaceful getaway at the lake. Campgrounds are clean, restrooms and showers are close to campaign if you are tent camping. Trails to hike and explore.

We are working out way north through CA and Horse Creek was in a convenient spot. Site very clean and well managed and overall its a pretty spot. Only 2-3 large and dispersed bath rooms. A number of large groups around the site which looks fun but it felt more like an urban park than being in…
I’ll start with the positive. The staff was incredibly nice and the sites were level left to right. The park is a couple swings in a sand pit, there seems to be a lot of permanent residents, the water supply in each site is topped with a sprinkler to water the grass in the sites. We stayed 2…
Good place to crash if the sequoia campgrounds are full. Good amenities, and friendly staff, but you sacrifice privacy and immediate access to the park’s trails. About 1.5 hours from Giant Forest and Wolverton, but it’s a gorgeous 1.5 hours.
We had booked a pull thru site and they asked to change our spot because they were having a party that day in that area. I was okay with it until we got there and tried to pull into the spot. We have a 35 foot 5th wheel and they put us on the far end where it was hard to turn. It took a lot of…
Friendly staff, well kept grounds, solid amenities. Many long term guests, a few of which were a bit noisy. I stayed here in a pinch in one of the tent sites. It's a grass patch in the middle of an RV park. I didn't expect more. I might stay again in a pinch, but I'd probably just get a cheap motel…
Family camp. If you not offended by noisy kids, you can stay here. The river is a plus !
This place is great if your looking to camp by a river. Close to three river stores and lake kaweah too.
We got a spot right on one of the river branches, with a great mountain view. Park was relatively empty. The weather was unseasonably warm and sunny with cool nights. Nice, semi-grassy sites with fire-pits made from washing machine tubs(good idea!). Staff was friendly. Campground close to nice…

This campground is situated by a lake. Love this spot! You’ll hear all the frogs by night and birds in the morning, great place for fly fishing or cat fishing and nice folks staying here! We had a bit of fun filling the truck up to make a portable pool, it’s quite warm in the summer months but…

We camped here for just a night, passing the Fresno area but wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of trees, river and lagoon access, friendly and helpful staff. Skoolie friendly to boot!
This KOA is a good stopover for people on there way to Yosemite or Sequoia National Park. There's not much around the campsite except for homes but the place has all you need. There's a pool but it's closed from Oct to May.
Cell Service: Great

Don't waste your money. Bathrooms were disgusting. Was looking forward to a hot shower after traveling two full days....would not even go there cause it was that gross. You can tell no one who works there cares. The amount of deferred maintenance is astounding!
1. Campsites are very small
2. Water available at all tent campsites
3. Showers and bathrooms were clean
4. Near highway in residential area
5. Almost no shade
6. Nice pool area
