Camp Robert’s Rest Area

Not many options for parking and catching some zzzzz’s along California’s 101. Stayed at the northbound rest area, which sits super close to the highway (the southbound rest area looked to be a bit further from off highway.

The rest area had just a few overnighters and a couple trucks staying for the night. It was well lit and clean, and felt relatively safe, and there is even dedicated areas for pets.

The biggest downside of the northbound rest area is the highway noise, its proximity of the parking areas to the highway makes it noisier than most rest areas. But with not many options for free parking, this rest area is a god send when you just need to pull off the highway to get some sleep.
