Walk-in sites at this high-elevation campground overlook a mountain lake, requiring campers to carry gear from parking areas to designated spots. The US Forest Service manages this seasonal location within Inyo National Forest, operating from Memorial Day through November when snow conditions permit access.
Pit toilets serve the campground, though no potable water is available on-site. Picnic tables accompany each site, and pets are welcome with proper supervision. The lakeside setting provides direct access for kayaking and other paddle sports. Campers should pack sufficient water for their entire stay and prepare for cooler temperatures at this elevation, particularly during shoulder seasons.
