Aiken Mine Road Dispersed — Mojave National Preserve

Description

A hard-packed sand spur off Aiken Mine Road cuts into the open Mojave National Preserve desert, reaching a spacious round pullout about a quarter mile in — wide enough to accommodate multiple rigs at once. The surrounding terrain is classic high-desert wilderness, with broad views and near-total quiet after dark. Minor washouts line the south side of the road, but the surface is firm and manageable for most vehicles.
