Description
Deep in the Ozark National Forest near Fern Mountain, this quiet roadside loop sits just off a forest service track in the forested hill country of northwest Arkansas. Two fire-pit sites make for a self-contained overnight, with very light traffic and good hiking in the surrounding terrain. The approach is easy enough for passenger cars, though the road deteriorates further along — large rigs should stop here rather than push deeper.
