Beautiful scenic views

We had a wonderful time here, it’s just beautiful, and very clean sites, and campground! Full hookups, most of the amenities, like showers, toilets, trash cans, etc…… We fully plan on more visits here!

SO MANY BUGS

As soon as we opened the truck doors I would estimate 12-15 sweat bees flew into the car. Additionally there were mosquitos and May flies all over. We were killing mosquitos in our truck the next day for about 5 hours of that trip. The sewage sat higher than my camper black/grey water so I had…

Very nice Army Corp of Engineers park

The campground recently installed sewer lines throughout the campground, so the sites are now full hookups.

Hernando Point

We enjoyed staying so close to the water. We fished right from the bank (must have a MS license). The water, electric, and sewer hook-ups are very close to the site. The picnic, grilling, and fire pit area is nice. The parking area is only wide enough fir the camper. It would be nice to have a…

Long weekend trip

Our site is right on the lake with a great fishing spot. The area for grilling and eating and fire pit is nice. The electric, water, and sewer hookups are very close. The parking area is not very wide. Only wide enough for the camper. I wish there was a better are for enjoying time under the…

Starting to get a little run down but a nice park for r to he most part

This was one of the last parks available on the Memorial Day weekend. One of the great things for us was the proximity of some Arkansas State Parks such as Cane Creek and Arkansas Post. First we were in E campground and it was not very well taken care of. The pads for the campers were starting…

Quiet relaxing spot

This was such a nice relaxing place to stay. We met a park interpreter who was very nice and informative.  We stayed in a small tent camping area beside one of the lakes.  The hiking trail was beautiful and we saw several woodpeckers!

Excellent!

This Arkansas state park is top notch. It offers a very quiet, immaculate campground with only 17 sites for RV hook ups. There are additional camping areas for tents, although one is closed for repairs. The Bear Creek lake surrounds the RV camping area on all three sides. There is fishing, small…

Great Campground

This Corp of Engineers camp is top rated.  Clean and excellent facilities.   Near casinos if that is your thing but I love the fishing

Very nice one nighter.

No frills, nice pull through sight for our 43’ 5th wheel. No cable, picnic table or bath house. However very easy hookups, free WiFi, low price and nice grass for our dog. Would definitely stay here again. Right next to Old Sawmill Cafe.

Very well kept, quiet, comfortable

We stayed 2 nights in December. Needless to say no crowds but the showers and bathrooms were spotless and warm. Easy back in spot with water and electric. Dump station on the way out. Lot of storm damage trees made firewood plentiful. Pleasant stay.

Great for families

Loved camping so close to the water! Clean, nice facilities. Not the best swimming hole, but great for boats and paddling!

A place to park

This isn't a campground, but more of a place to park your RV if you have other things to do in the area or just need a place to park and sleep. Seems that many people come here for the Blues Festival. Sites are tight and no picnic tables or fire rings.

Hidden gem, perfect for a few nights.

A big, undeveloped lake in Northern Mississippi? Yep, indeedy!!!

We stayed here for two nights to break up the long drive between Nashville and Petit Jean in Arkansas. Since we're brilliant planners and choose to travel through the southeast in August when it's 95 degrees every day, we always look…

Nice spot

I went there during the 4th of July weekend. Site 9 and site 10 are by far the most beautiful sites in the camp in my opinion. They are right on the lake and relatively separate from the other sites. However, I do recommend getting those sites together for a group. While they are separate from…
