    Jones Mill, Arkansas

This peaceful park makes great camping near Little Rock and is located on Lake Catherine, one of five lakes in the beautiful Ouachita Mountain region. The only full-service marina on the lake is here at the park and open in the summertime for bait, snacks/drinks, and fuel. Boat rentals are available year-round. The park also includes a launch ramp, pavilion, picnic sites, playgrounds, and a well-marked trail that leads to a waterfall.

The park has 20 fully equipped cabins, including one two-bedroom cabin with a patio overlooking the water and private access to the lake from its own fishing pier. There are also many native stone and wood buildings on-site. The history of these structures dates back to the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s. The park offers 70 campsites (47 Class AAA and 23 Class B), six primitive tent sites, one Rent-A-Camp, and one Rent-A-Yurt. Many of these sites are on the lakeshore. Park interpreters offer hikes, lake tours, and programs year-round. Guided horseback rides are offered seasonally.

      Malvern, Arkansas

James and Jimmilea Berryhill have been hosting guests for the past 8 years. With over 200 excellent reviews on various platforms and many returning guests, the Berryhills want to make your vacation or work stay as easy as possible. Jubilee Farms Campground and nightly rentals are located 15 miles from Malvern, Arkansas just off Hwy 9 South. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of woodland, a few small farms, and all the sounds of the great outdoors. As a tent, RV, as well as 3 nightly rentals, Jubilee offers easy access to all camping sites, full water, and electric hookups for 4 RV campsites, and multiple places for tent camping. The farm has three ponds for catch-and-release fishing, a play spot for children, swings for adults, a hammock, lawn chairs, charcoal grills for guests, and a small dipping pool during the season. There is a lovely spot by the lake with a fire pit, lots of walking area on the 80 acres, games on the lawn (badminton, volleyball), and entertainment from the ducks and chickens. We offer fresh eggs to campers most of the time (when the chickens are willing). We are a Christian family living on the farm full-time. The farm is mostly open grassland with some wooded areas. Restrictions include: no parties unless approved, no recreational drugs allowed, no smoking other than in your area or RV (remember safety with any fire), no fires except in grills or the designated firepits, quiet time 10 pm - 7 am, no entering private yards without permission. We are 35 miles from Hot Springs where Lake Hamilton, Lake Catherine, and Lake Degray offer every possible swimming, fishing, and boating experience. We are just 5 miles from Cox Creek Lake (a local large fishing lake). We are a family-friendly campground and welcome friendly, respectful guests to enjoy this lovely place.

        Great State Park!!

Very beautiful place to stay!! Our site on the lake was very beautiful and every site on the water has a small dock you can fish off. Bugs were not bad at all. Would recommend this place to anyone.

        Nice stopping point

12 mi off the Interstate. The office is only open until 5 PM. There are toilets next to the tent area, but the showers are over in the RV area. Nice swimming beach. A few hiking trails.

        Large RV spaces

Beautiful landscape. The trees are so tall and mature and the sites are all sitting on a serene lake. The spaces are so far apart you can enjoy your own spot without interruption. Bathhouses were super clean with showers. C loop has sewer and B loop doesn’t not much wildlife in the campground but herons and geese on the lake. The power plant across the lake was weird but also quirky. We had fun telling zombie stories about it. Three beautiful hikes right out of the campground. Camp store was well stocked and friendly. Overall fantastic stay and we would DEFINITELY be back. 100%.

        Fantastic State Park

I really enjoyed my stay here! I spent a week in an E/W hookup site. The park was clean and quiet (even when full). People were generally kind and respectful. Facilities were well cared for and it was just a generally nice atmosphere. The staff were all very kind and friendly. There are a few close hiking trails with some beautiful views and of course it’s only about a 20 or so minute drive to Hot Springs National Park. The town of Hot Springs is fairly small, but the main drag along bathhouse row has a lot of cool little shops to browse. Cell reception with Verizon was good along with reception for my T-Mobile 5g internet. It worked even better with my booster. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was the hot water in the showers…it lasts for about a minute and then the rest of the shower is generally somewhat (not ice) cold. I took some record showers!

Worth the commute from Little Rock

Beautiful area with great fishing, swimming(water slides&diving boards in the middle of the lake) and fun for the whole family. The staff were also very friendly. We will definitely be back again! The only Con was lack of signs for campsites.

Only 1 Tent Site on the property !

It was great. I have the only tent site they offer. It’s away from the RV area. The couple that runs the KOA are super friendly. There is a pool but not open for some reason. Small dog park. Camp store. Clean. And an ice cream shop! The only drawback is it’s close to the freeway and you can hear a LOT of traffic.

We got in around 6:30pm and was met and led to our site(right in front across from office) We were told if we were going to disconnect our 40ft Jayco Eagle that we had to pull it all the way to front of site and park truck behind. This necessitated the need to buy a longer black water line for $161.00. Could not find any garbage receptacles close but was late and didn't get much time to acclimate. Left early to continue our trip

        Noisy and Work

Staff is friendly. Campground is next to the freeway. You get a lot of road noise. All of the cabins are over grown. Sites are easy access but tight, not much room between rigs if both rigs have slides. There is a lot of long term guess. Not what I would expect from any KOA. You may not feel safe at this park if you a traveling alone.

        Beautiful sunrise on the lake

Very Clean and well kept campground. We stayed in a full hookup spot near a bathroom. Quiet for how busy the campground was - only heard the geese through the night. Lots of hiking trails from the campground. Would stay again.

        Loud freeway noise.

I think at one time, this was an awesome site until the freeway. VERY noisy. I would have given two stars, however, the hosts are wonderful and they have an ICE CREAM PARLOR next to the office. The space itself is level and has a concrete pad for the picnic table. Space Y-9 which is a PT.

        Great site by the water

We stayed in site 54 (w/e/s) that was right on the lake. We could walk to the dock right behind the site to fish, although did not have very good luck. I’m betting the fishing is better if you have a boat. We did not use the restrooms/bathhouse. This site is smaller but fit our 22’ trailer perfectly. We had our ebikes with us and road around a little, but the campground is not ideally set up for using them like we did at Petit Jean. We did have some pretty tall weeds that we wished would have been taken care of before we arrived, but not a deal breaker for sure. We hiked several trails that were challenging and beautiful. Close proximity to Hot Springs so spent one day there. If I had it to do over again, I would have skipped it. Casino close by for those folks so inclined. Wish we would have brought our kayaks🤨

        Hot Springs National Park KOA

This is a nice campground, and I am normally not a KOA fan.

Nestled in a forest in the hillsides just outside Hot Springs, this is a nice KOA.  The staff is friendly and the sites are, for KOA standards, spacious.  There is a fishing pond where kids got lots of little fish.  There is a pool (closed when we visited) and a grill that serves breakfast Friday through Sunday.  Overall a great campground!
