Mobil Truck Stop I-40

Accessible via Interstate 40, this truck stop provides overnight parking for RVers and travelers needing a roadside stop in Chambers. The facility includes a camp store and allows pets, though campers should expect commercial truck traffic and associated noise throughout the night.

One reviewer noted significant road surface issues, describing careful navigation around "craters" to find a suitable parking spot. The reviewer specifically advised against arriving after dark and recommended against sleeping here due to conditions. Cell service remains available for those needing connectivity during travel breaks. Campers seeking quieter overnight options may want to explore places to camp around Chambers for alternatives with more traditional campground amenities.

Rough Terrain

I needed a spot to work for a few hours on my way to Flagstaff! After carefully navigating the craters, I found a spot. I would not recommend arriving after dark, nor would I sleep here.
