Description

Grassland and open-sky country at roughly 4,400 feet on BLM land adjacent to the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area, where cattle graze freely and traffic is sparse enough to count on one hand. A pullout off an easy dirt side road, the surface is well-graded and handles large rigs without trouble. The nearby Empire Ranch is worth a visit while you're here.
