Out of this World

I’m glad the owner Bruce and his little dog let us share a piece of Heaven. Bruce is an incredibly warm and friendly man who is very knowledgable of the area he lives in. I only wish we could have stayed longer and will gladly return in the future. We were a hop, skip and jump from the Painted Desert NP and the Petrified Forest NP. If you are a pampered RV’r this might not be your spot. No utilities. But still a great boon docking experience. Nice and quiet campground.

Out of this world

So the drive here is pretty bumpy but Bruce is a great host and gives excellent directions. 

It has no water, electricity or sewer so you need to be self sufficient but it is away from everything and the night sky is fantastic.  The compound is surrounded by an electric fence and aliens to keep you safe.

Fun

I would absolutely would stay there again. It is a fun setting and really close to Petrified Forest and Painted Desert. Bruce had to help us find it but he helped the whole way. I saw my first falling star. The view was great. We stayed at site closest to Bruce's house. It was not level but we had cots so no problem for us. Just the lights and all the work that has been put into the place. He makes his stuff out of scrap metals. You have to drive up at night though. It's really cool.
