Description
Where two rivers converge along the Richardson Highway corridor in southcentral Alaska, this BLM pullout delivers the full subarctic package: snowcapped peaks, a river-sound curtain that swallows highway noise, and occasional wildlife crossings at the water's edge. Access is via a gravel turnout just off AK-4, tight enough that larger rigs will want to walk it first — most trailers up to about 30 feet have made it work, though some may need to back out. A rock fire ring is in place, and expect mosquitoes in force through midsummer.
