Within Tongass National Forest, Nemo Campsites Entry & Info Site operates as a US Forest Service walk-in campground accessible via a winding gravel road at Nemo Point. Campers reach individual sites on foot after parking at the entry area. The facility provides vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits at no cost, with ADA accessibility and cell service available.
From the campsites, visitors can spot whales, fishing boats, and seaplanes moving through the channel below. The elevated position offers views across the water toward surrounding mountains. For additional options in the region, campers can explore campgrounds around Wrangell. The campground works well for RV newcomers and those comfortable with walk-in access who want channel views and wildlife watching opportunities.
