Military Park Kodiak Coast Guard Base MWR RV Camping Area operates seasonally from May through October, serving military personnel and their families on the Coast Guard base. The facility provides RV sites with hookups approximately four miles from Kodiak's main services and amenities.
Access requires base entry authorization through military identification. Buskin River State Recreation Site sits less than a mile east for civilian camping alternatives. The campground closes for winter months due to Alaska's harsh seasonal conditions, reopening each spring for the brief but active camping season.

Directions
From the airport:Turn left at the stop sign on Rezanof Dr. The main gate entrance is 1.5 miles on the left. Pass thru the main gate and turn left on Albatross Ave, (second left). Stay to the right at the Y intersection. The Guest House is on the right. To base from town: Take Rezanof Drive, you will eventually pass the airport on the left and continue with directions as noted above. The Coast Guard Base is approximately 7 miles. To RV Park from base: Leaving the front gate, turn right on Rezanof Drive. Continue approximately 1.5 miles, past Kodiak International Airport across the Buskin River Bridge, turn left on Anton Larsen Road. Go one block and turn right on Tom Stiles Road. Continue 2 blocks and turn right on Barometer.
