Accessible via a considerable drive from the footbridge, Kennicott Riverside Campground requires campers to have their own transportation but rewards the effort with level tent sites positioned along the river. Each site includes a picnic table and stone fire ring, with outhouses and showers located a short walk away. River guides living in nearby walled tents provide assistance when needed, and the riverside breeze helps reduce insect activity while greenery between sites offers some privacy.

For those preferring closer road access, McCarthy Road End Dispersed — Wrangell-St. Elias NP sits just over a mile northeast with easier vehicle access.
