Kegan Creek Cabin

This US Forest Service cabin sits along Kegan Creek in the Tongass National Forest, accessible by vehicle but restricted to tent camping only with no RV accommodation. The $25 per night site requires advance reservations and prohibits pets, making it a more controlled camping experience than many forest locations.

Fishing opportunities center around the nearby creek and lake access, drawing anglers to the forested setting outside Craig. Campers exploring the broader region can find places to camp around Tongass National Forest for additional options. The cabin works well for small groups seeking a drive-in forest experience with basic amenities and structured access.

Fee Info

Only one change per reservation for all Alaska cabins is allowed. Change is defined as a modification to the start or end date of the reservation; after one change has been made, if additional changes are desired, the customer must cancel the current reservation and re-book the new dates.
